Prophesy to Those Dead Areas! By Milo Briscoe

 The LORD took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the LORD to a valley filled with bones. He led me all around among the bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out. Then He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign LORD,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.” Then He said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, Dry bones, listen to the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD said: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! Ezekiel 37:1-5 NLT

Resurrection: the act of rising from the dead.

The LORD showed Ezekiel a dead and dry valley and told him to prophecy to that valley that it may live again. I hear the LORD saying the same thing to us. What is that dead valley in your life that needs to be risen? Is it a dream, a relationship, or maybe a career?

That dead valley represents a place that was given up on, a place where things were left to die. It represents place where there was no more hope. But God is saying speak to those valleys, bring life back to those dreams, that relationship, that career. God wants to resurrect them!

Romans 4:17b God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did. Let’s start prophesying to those dead areas and watch God resurrect them.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, show us those areas that you want to resurrect and give us the courage to prophesy to them that they may live again. In Jesus name, Amen.

So, let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9 The harvest has always been a beautiful and important part of life on earth, the time when the year’s work bears fruit, and the people are fed.   One of my favorite scriptures about harvest is Galatians 6:9. When I read this scripture, it gives me hope and encouragement to keep moving. Especially when you face challenging times and people. But when I meditate on this scripture, it reveals so much more. It is an opportunity to get in God’s presence to gain understanding during processing cycle.   It reveals in the practical sense that you are like a farmer that sow seeds and reaps a harvest. This concept leads to me asking questions like; “Am I sowing seeds?” “What kind of seed am I sowing?” “What kind of harvest am I expecting?”   These questions are valid because they will determine the cycle that takes place in reaping a harvest.   But generous people plan to do what is generous, and they stand firm in their generosity. Isaiah 32:8 NLT. This verse is part of a comparison of mindsets (character) within the chapter. The previous verses in the chapter talk about fools speaking foolishness and making evil plans. Also, how they practice ungodliness and spread false teachings about the Lord. But the generous, some versions use the word noble, people plan to do what is generous or noble. Generous people think about being generous. They look for opportunities to bless others. How can I make someone else’s life better? It’s not self-serving. Unlike the persons in the previous verses who plan foolishness and spread false teachings about the Lord. Planning to bring deception into the lives of others.
